Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is break records in Africa- 2015

The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has recently shattered all records in terms of cement production in Africa. As per confirmed estimates, it has been declared that the factory has produced 4, 73, 985 tonnes of cement in the previous year 2014. The output is approximately 30% in excess of its estimated output.

The installed capacity of ZPC is capable of producing 1000 tonnes of cement everyday which accumulates to 3, 60, 000 tonnes of cement on an annual basis. However, with an increased demand for cement, the unit went on to produce an additional 1, 00, 000 tonnes. The additional cement was required for facilitating the Ndola housing project where a total of 71 houses is being built by the Mahtani Group of Companies. Additionally, this performance report has also motivated the owner, Dr. Rajan Mahtani to invest further in Masaiti by opening a new lime plant which will offer employment opportunities to the locals within the next 2 years.

An additional advantage that the people Ndola would be enjoying is that there would be a concrete block making facility installed near the ZPC with the potential of producing 8000 blocks per day. This has made it obvious that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is not only determined to execute development plans in Zambia only, but also in other parts of Africa as well.

Recently, when the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory registered a historic performance in 2014 by producing a surplus of 1, 00, 000 tonnes of cements in an annual year, Dr. Rajan Mahtani decided to launch a new block-making facility with a potential to produce 8, 000 blocks on a daily basis.

The facility will allow Zambezi Portland Cement Factory to accelerate its process of development and perform more efficiently. Introduction of this block-making unit will also increase the level of employment in Masaiti.

The Zambezi Portland Cement factory has produced a splendid performance for the year 2014. Surpassing its forecasted output by 1, 00, 000 tonnes, the factory has gone on to achieve the position of a top performer for Mahtani Group of Companies. The Zambezi Portland Cement factory has been one of the most consistent performers in Mahtani Group of Companies. Last year, it successfully surpassed its expected output by 1, 00, 000 tonnes as the total annual production touched 4, 73, 985 tonnes in comparison to the expected annual output of 3, 60, 000 tonnes. Motivated by this positive result, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has decided to start up a fresh lime plant in Masaiti. The plant is expected to create a demand for skilled and semi-skilled employees in Masaiti.

As per the given estimate, the lime plant in Masaiti will take a span of 24 months to come into force. Once completed, the plant will offer some of the best quality limestone in Africa and will also improve the market of employment in Masaiti.

It appears that the conspiracy against Finance Bank Chairman, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is growing with every single day. The latest of them all talks about Dr. Mahtani bribing Joyce Banda. Joyce Banda is Malawi’s former President who had once met Dr. Mahtani during her tenure. According to the defamatory article, it has been said that the meeting served as the base of bribery where Dr. Mahtani had promised Joyce Banda with benefits worth US $ 180 million. However, when it comes to determining the truth of the article, it is merely a sham created with fabrication and manipulation.

As per confirmed reports, the meeting between Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani and Joyce Banda took place in Malawi where it was promised to the host that they would be facilitated with a loan of US $ 30 million and a bio thermal plant worth US $ 150 million. The loan would be used as a fuel to complete the plant as soon as possible. This section of the meeting has been cunningly portrayed as an incident of bribery. But, if one takes a look into this matter closely, he will realize that bribery is associated with personal benefits rather than common benefits. The promise to build a bio thermal plant would serve towards the benefit of the nation rather than benefitting Joyce Banda alone.

Another consideration that comes into the picture is that Dr. Mahtani is an educated person and knows the legal framework well. Had he been interested in bribing, then he would have bribed the Reserve Bank of Malawi officials because they reserve the permission to grant any foreign bank the access to the Malawi banking sector.

The Future for Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is Uncertain

Being in a continent that has been struggling economically, Zambian has often been described as a nation that is striving harder and pushing itself towards the path of growth and development. In order to create a positive future, Zambia has been focussing on its infrastructure and core productions. In this scenario, the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has been a significant contributor in terms of Zambian infrastructure and employment. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the present owner of the factory that involves in mass production of cement in Zambia.

Year 2014 was a significant year for the Dr. Mahtani’s cement factory as it successfully enhanced its total daily cement production by 200 tonnes daily. The factory’s previous record was producing 1100 tonnes of cement per day. On the other hand, the newly established output is allowing the factory to produce 1300 tonnes of cement on a daily basis. Apart from the above developments, ZPCF has also volunteered in the 2014 Ndola Housing Project by offering cement produced from its factory. On April 7, 2015, the management of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory was forcefully taken over by the Ventriglia family with the help of bandit goons. Since then, working conditions in the factory has degraded and the workers are not getting paid.

It is the beginning of a New Year and more importantly, it is the beginning of a new hope for Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia  has already made a huge impact in the recent past as his bank is now listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange and expecting to commence its share trade operations from the first quarter of 2015.

The year 2015 has a lot to unfold. This year can be the key year in writing down a historic success for the Finance Bank of Zambia. As per a press conference arranged in November 2014, Dr. Rajan Mahtani did show an interest in the London Stock Exchange. According to his words, FBZ is also looking forward to have itself listing on the Alternate Investment Market of the London’s Stock Exchange. If this event takes place, then this would be one of the most remarkable achievements in the economy of Zambia.

The year 2014 is finally coming to an end in the month of December. During the past twelve months, there were numerous events in Zambia that unified its people and brought them closer for a particular cause. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Finance Bank Chairman, has played the role of a pioneer for Zambia in these twelve months as he took the initiative of fighting against wrong doers and preserving the interest of his motherland, Zambia.

The year started with random allegations on Dr. Rajan Mahtani from a group of conspirators. Though the identity of these conspirators still remains concealed, involvement of Zambia Reports in defaming Dr. Mahtani has come out as clear evidence. The lawyer of Dr. Mahtani has already filed a case on account of defamation and the hearing remains due at the Lusaka High Court. On the other hand, the year also witnessed one of the most heartbreaking news in the form of Michael Sata’s demise. One of the closest of Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the former President of Zambia left this world in the month of October-November.

However, there were also certain events which gave the people of Zambia a chance to smile. Dr. Rajan Mahtani offered the veterans of war with an account credited with K 50, 000 for the purpose of meeting their personal requirements.
