Forbes Winner Dr. Mahtani Supports Abolishing Death Penalty.

It’s time to express gratitude for all the blessings obtained despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic as 2022 comes to an end and 2023 begins. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, a philanthropist and businessman from Zambia, has been grateful for all of the opportunities and challenges that have come his way. Africa hosts the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership forum, an annual gathering. The conference coincides with the UNGA and is held in New York. The most recent Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference took held in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The Forbes-FIN roundtable conference last year was held virtually in accordance with the Covid-19 regulations. Members participated in the event from their own locations, and it was also streamed live throughout the world on the YouTube platform. Dr. Rajan Mahtani spoke as an honoured guest about the importance of healthcare leadership at this Forbes-FIN charity and roundtable conference in 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani also gained recognised for his contributions to business and charity. Dr. Rajan Mahtani received the Forbes “Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year” award for 2021 in honour of his outstanding philanthropic achievements. In accepting this honour, Dr. Rajan Mahtani graciously thanked Almighty God and his teams for their significant efforts. Dr. Mahtani received recognition for both his financial success and his charitable contributions to Zambia and its people. Two of his remarkable and enduring contributions are Prison Fellowship Zambia and the Stephen Malama Award and Fellowship for excellent law graduates in Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was the founder of Prison Fellowship. Zambia has gained attention for its unwavering support of the nation’s president’s decision to commute the death penalty. The death penalty is brutal, humiliating, and barbaric, and Dr. Mahtani agreed with the President that it should be abolished as soon as possible. He also promised that his organisation, Prison Fellowship, would provide full legal and regulatory support.
