The state of affairs in the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is shocking. The present management group of the factory has taken ‘abuse of power’ to a whole new level. On one hand, the employees have been deprived of their right to receive monthly remuneration and on the other hand, the directors of the factory, namely the Ventriglias, are withdrawing a salary of $ 40, 000 per month on per head basis.

This is not the first time that the Ventriglias have expressed greed for money. There have been instances when the Ventriglias have transferred amount as big as K2 billion from the factory to their personal accounts without any proper explanation. There are evidences which shows that each family member of Ventriglia has been recklessly making withdrawals from the company which they show it as salary and rental caps. An approx. of US $ 416, 000 is transferred from the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory every month to facilitate the lavish lifestyle of the Ventriglias.

Ventriglias were previously deported from Ndola in 2012, due to their corrupt action and ill-nature towards the employees of the factory. However, with the deportation being lifted they have made a comeback and continue to make chaos in Ndola and the rest of the Africa. One of their funded news portal is Zambia Reports who conceals their crime and targets Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Mahtani Group of Companies.
