The Mahtani Group of Companies given Luapula Province a new gift in the form of a bio-ethanol plant. The plant would be offering employment to the locals and farmers along with strengthening the economy of Zambia. The initial work on the plant is on the stage of being initiated. A contribution of USD 190 million would be jointly contributed by the Sunbird Group and Mahtani Group of Companies.

With the New Year, the hope for the people of Luapula has also reached a new height. It is the contribution of leaders that matters. There will be people whose objective would be to create problems and gain bubble reputation, but it is people like Rajan Mahtani who make a difference.
