Dr. Rajan Mahtani To Support Zambian President’s Step On Death Penalty.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani

The Zambian president’s desire to abolish the death sentence entirely was one of his wisest moves of the previous year. On the eve of Africa Day, which is celebrated annually on May 25th, the president of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, made a statement. On this day, the President discussed his desire to abolish the antiquated death penalty statute. Many businessmen and civilians alike applaud the Zambian President’s decision and are extremely complimentary of it. The well-known businessman and philanthropist from Zambia, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, also expressed his complete support for this choice. The concept of the death sentence, according to Dr.Rajan Mahtani, is brutal, demeaning, and harsh, and it offers little support for the current law and order in Zambia, despite his support for the Zambian President’s choice. In addition, Dr. Rajan Mahtani added that making such an audacious yet justified announcement and turning it into reality are two very different things. Although it is an outdated statute, the execution method is well-established and will take a lot of labor. Ensure that the death penalty sentence is removed from Zambian legal books, this entails fighting against bureaucratic procedures, relaxed offices, and archaic government legislation. In order to ensure that the choice is implemented, Dr.Rajan Mahtani stated that his organization Prison Fellowship will offer all legal and regulatory support. A well-known Christian outreach program called Prison Fellowship seeks to protect the fundamental human rights and basic human dignity of Zambian prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. By imparting his wisdom and lessons to the convicts, also helps to draw them closer to the Almighty God. Prison Fellowship Zambia also works to ensure that the criminal justice system is open to all prisoners in Zambia.

Therefore, this charitable organization founded by Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the ideal means of ensuring that the Zambian President’s decision about the death penalty comes to a final conclusion. To ensure that the choice is quickly implemented, Dr. Mahtani-owned Prison Fellowship Zambia will offer complete legal and regulatory support.
