Zambia is often considered as a land of opportunities in Africa. But recently, the defamation campaign against Dr. Mahtani & Zambia had made it a land of conspiracy. The conspirators have constantly been trying to play their game by publishing malign articles at a regular interval. Notwithstanding the law and order of Zambia, these conspirators have been silently doing their own ‘business’ and trying to mislead the locals.

In the past decade or so, it has been that the Ventriglia family have joined hands with Sakwiba Sikota, the operator of Zambia Reports, and are running a campaign whose only intent is to defame one of the most respected businessman in Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The only motivation behind running this defamation campaign is to distract him from carrying on his usual business.

Why Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have become a target?

Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been constantly trying to maintain the dignity of Zambia by stopping corruption. This has made the task of looting difficult for the Ventriglias and hence, the outrage is seen in the form of defamatory articles.

Muto, a local resident comments, “Zambia is a developing nation. Our battle with corruption is the only way to escape the misery which we are currently facing. However, there are few people who are here to fill their pockets and ruin our lives. But as long as we are alive, we are not going to let that happen. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is with us and by God’s grace we would soon win this battle.”

The statement clearly indicates that the locals in Zambia are offering their full support to Dr. Rajan Mahtani whereas there are also a bunch of people whose only reason for stay in Zambia is spreading corruption and loot. The situation is bound to make the everyone sad.
