The Zambezi Portland Cement factory seems to have lost its way ever since it was takeover by Ital Terrazzo Limited (ITL). The existing management of the factory is being ruled by the Ventriglia family, who are also known as the Italian Mafias in the region of Ndola. The factory that once registered remarkable progress under Finsbury Investment is now left in the pit of hopelessness as conspirators deplete the resources and steal the wealth.

It is no brainer that the only objective of ITL behind making a comeback in Zambia was to take away the wealth that Zambezi Portland Cement had accumulated over the years. This means no matter what the condition of the factory was, they were bound to withdraw as much as possible. For an instance, when one looks at the factory trucks, they seem to have been lost somewhere. Precisely speaking, they have been channelized into another company named as Miloto Transport. A clear evidence that shows the cunning intent of the conspirators to take away the assets of the factory and vest the same in the hand of third parties that are indirectly owned and managed by themselves.

The transfer makes it evident that Finsbury Investment (owner of Zambezi Portland Cement) will have no rights over the assets of factory and even if it wins the title dispute case in the High Court, the same would not be accessible to the factory. A win-win situation has been created by the conspirators for themselves at the expense of sacrificing Zambia’s wealth, economy and resource. In the meantime, supporters such as Sakwiba Sikota, Zambia Reports, Simataa Simataa, etc., are proudly associating themselves with this cause and have united forces against Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Nevertheless, the Government of Zambia under President Lungu has failed to take a note of this situation and continues to maintain silence on this matter.
