No connection between Finance Bank & Dr. Rajan Mahtani, but Zambia Report thinks so!

Finance Bank and Dr. Rajan Mahtani parted way back in 2016. Dr. Rajan Mahtani used to be the Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia and guided the bank to prosperity and growth. Finance Bank was then sold to BancABC so that Dr. Mahtani can concentrate on expanding his other businesses. However, Zambia Reports is under the impression that Dr. Rajan Mahtani & Finance Bank are still working together. They news agency also claims that the call for repayment of loan made by BancABC to Lamsaat was actually on orders of Dr. Mahtani & BancABC is only acting as a sham. Zambia Reports scripted this whole story when BancABC requested Lamsaat to repay the agreed loan amount which was availed by Lamsaat from the Finance Bank.

Dr. Mahtani

People who have the knowledge of the day to day activities surrounding Zambia are well aware of the fact that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is the ex-Chairman and Managing Director of Finance Bank. In 2016, Dr. Rajan Mahtani accepted the proposal by BancABC and handed over Finance Bank so that he can focus on his other operations. Why would Dr. Rajan Mahtani sell his nurtured bank if he still wants to control it? It seems like through its latest publication, Zambia Reports has made a fool of itself only.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a respected businessman across Zambia. His operations are not limited in Zambia only. He is also among few businessmen who successfully brought foreign investments in Zambia. It is saddening to see that an individual who is so dedicated towards growth and development of a nation is being bullied by its own people. Zambia Reports has lost all its credibility, ethics and work culture. It has transformed itself into a slave of conspirators who are essentially thieves and mafias. That day is not far when ZR will become the victim of its financers and handlers because the latter shares loyalty or sympathy. Till then, we can just wait and watch ZR’s next move.
