The recent case launched against Simaata by Finance Bank Zambia had the entire country in surprise. While majority of the people were happy to see Finance Bank taking action against its conspirators, there were also a few bunch of supporters of Simaata who condemned the actions. These are probably the same individuals and entities who want to see Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s businesses and reputation collapse and has been responsible for spreading negative stories and false rumors about Dr. Mahtani as well as his associations.
Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a man of honor. He has never engaged in any fights with his conspirators even when it was known to all that the stories published against him are totally fake. He has established strong businesses across Zambia with hard work, dedication and honesty and knows that this success cannot be broken by few individuals dwelling on hatred and jealously. Even when it was found that some of his conspirators have bribed lawmakers to avoid coming under the government’s radar, Dr. Mahtani did not took any major action against them.
However, this went out of hand real fast when Simaata started spreading negative stories about Finance Bank as well as Dr. Rajan Mahtani. These stories were given across various law courts as testimonials, thereby creating loss of image and reputation for the bank. This also created negative word-of-mouth, further damaging the bank’s image. As a result, a case was launched by Finance Bank Zambia with support from Dr. Rajan Mahtani. In this case, Simaata was accused of breaking the agreement that he had earlier signed with Finance Bank Zambia. The bank claimed that Simaata violated many terms and clauses by leaking documents and giving testimonials. The case was taken to Supreme Court Zambia where it went for a while.
