After Zambezi Portland Cement, conspirators take Lamasat issue

The Zambezi Portland Cement conspirators are constantly trying to keep their viewpoints in the headlines by funding Zambia Reports on a regular basis. Just when they saw that there is no scope for them to play a blame game on Dr. Rajan Mahtani, they took up Lamasat issue and tried to defame him. The fact that BancABC and FBZ are now one unit is known to all. In 2016, the event has already taken place and since then, all the calls are being made by the management of BancABC directly.

Still we find that Zambia Reports has come up with an article that claims Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s involvement in putting pressure on Lamasat for repayment of loan. The loan was forwarded to Lamasat when Finance Bank of Zambia was an independent organization and the value of loan was $ 10, 000, 000. At the time of facilitating the loan, there were numerous obligations attached which Lamasat happily agreed to fulfil. Sadly, when the time for repayment arrived, the intent started to shift and this made BancABC take the precautionary step. However, the action gave the Zambezi Portland Cement mafias and Zambia Reports a chance to get back into business and start a new defamatory story.

People in Zambia have witnessed such defamation campaign in the past as well. For an instance, a story was published by Zambia Reports in 2016 where the author claimed that Finsbury Investment and Dr. Rajan Mahtani was caught in tax evasion scandal under Panama Papers. But, as usual, the story was dismissed within hours and everyone in Zambia was able to see the true intent behind the publication – defamation of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The question is- when will Zambia Reports grow up? When will the conspirators learn from their mistakes? Every time they do this, they only create a mockery of themselves.
