For the past couple of months, the people of Zambia have been fooled and shown a different Zambezi Portland Cement. The conditions that prevail within the factory is way beyond the description that has been given by Zambia Reports. An entity that has lost its way in the past one half years has now won the award for the best employer. Strange, isn’t it?

It is known to all that Zambia Reports is a sponsored house of the Ventriglias and has often helped their masters to defame eminent personalities like Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The latest episode is also no different. Zambia Reports has recently published an article that talks about the milestone which has been achieved by Zambezi Portland Cement. However, it main intent behind this publication was to talk ill about Finsbury Investments and Dr. Rajan Mahtani. As per them, the assets and other resources of ZPC were wasted during the period when Finsbury Investments was managing the factory.

But when a person looks into the recent affairs within the factory, he would certainly realize the story is different. As soon as Ital Terrazzo Limited came to power, the first thing that they did was withdraw cash from the factory cash box. As the wealth started to deplete, they resorted to firing existing employees from the factory with a view to save costs and then leased out assets to third parties (which are indirectly owned by them). Considering these above-mentioned scenarios, it is possible for a layman to consider the claim made by Zambia Reports? Nonetheless, it is the desire of every Zambian to see Zambezi Portland Cement achieve greater heights. The existing management of the factory has created a strange scenario for the workers as they continue to suffer from oppression and sacrifice their rights for the sake of keeping their jobs.
