Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have once again been defamed by Zambia Reports on account of mishandling Zambezi Portland Cement. In a release that stated that Zambezi Portland Cement has won the award for being the Best Employer, there was a sharp attack on the profile of Dr. Rajan Mahtani where the author claimed that the factory in a poor condition when it was taken from Finsbury Investments.

However, the true story is much different than what is being portrayed by the author of Zambia Reports. When it comes to focusing on the reality, events that had occurred in the past few months should be taken into consideration. On one hand, we find that the Ventriglia family (owners of Ital Terrazzo Limited) had dismissed around 47 workers from their existing job because they didn’t have sufficient work for them. On the other hand, there was also an incident where it was seen that the trucks and premise of Zambezi Portland Cement was leased out to third parties.

The events clearly portray that there is a difference between what is being claimed by Zambia Reports and the chain of incidents that had taken place in the past few months. Nevertheless, the conspirators have not backed away from defaming Dr. Mahtani & Zambia. For them every publication has an implied intent of defaming people who have previously stopped them from spreading corruption in Zambia. As per the latest reports, the Ventriglias have been crying about the fact that Dr. Rajan Mahtani had forged signature to claim 58% ownership of the factory. But the truth is that they are never available to proof the same in the Court. Over the past 3-4 instances they have been bunking court sessions where the fate of the factory was to be decided; making it obvious that they have least respect for the Zambian Law.
